Working principle of electronic ignition coil
It consists of the main coil, secondary coil, magnetic core, switch transistor, and other auxiliary components. The main coil is charged by the battery, the secondary coil is discharged and ignited by the spark plug, and the transistor is responsible for the switch. The charging time is controlled by the battery voltage and engine speed to ensure consistent charging energy each time. There are two types of ignition coils: 3-wire and 4-wire. The 3-wire is for positive and negative power supply, and the switch control (ECU command) is used. The 4-wire has an additional ignition detection line, which can detect whether the spark plug is ignited.
Common faults and solutions of electronic ignition coils:
Common faults:
(1) The ignition coil is open circuit or grounded, does not generate high voltage, and cannot be ignited.
(2) A short circuit in the ignition coil winding can cause the voltage generated by the ignition coil to be too low, resulting in insufficient ignition energy and causing the spark plug electrodes to blacken too quickly (often contaminated by carbon deposits).
(3) The insulation aging of the ignition coil results in weak or non ignition sparks in the ignition system due to leakage of the ignition coil.
Solution:
(1) Remove carbon deposits from spark plugs and replace leaking spark plugs.
(2) Replace the ignition coils of all cylinders to avoid causing differences in the performance of the new and old ignition coils.
SuKoTec Electronic Ignition Coil Product Advantages:
Designed and produced under the strictest quality control process, in accordance with or exceeding OE specifications in terms of fit, form, and function
The pen ignition coil adopts an integrated magnetic sleeve to prevent detachment during driving and maintain good insulation.
Enamelled wire: Using Yili Sule enameled wire (enameled wire is the world's first brand), it has a high temperature resistance of 180 ℃, and high temperature resistance makes the product performance more excellent.
The secondary skeleton is a very important component in the ignition coil, which uses Japanese imported material PPE, with an electrical strength of 33KV/mm and high temperature resistance of 180 ° C.
High voltage enamel coating for high-quality insulation, with good permeability and high insulation performance. Avoid resin cracking, resulting in ignition not working; Ordinary epoxy resin is prone to cracking, causing product failure and inability to function properly.
High quality copper and high-pressure coating are used to manufacture each durable SuKoTec ignition coil.
