Working principle of shock absorbers

Shock absorbers are used to suppress the rebound of springs and the impact from the road surface, in order to accelerate the attenuation of frame and body vibration and improve the driving smoothness of cars. Common faults:

(1) Anti loosening nut with abnormal noise.

(2) Wear/damage of piston rod and oil leakage.

(3) The dust cover/manhole cover is damaged and leaks oil.

Solution:

(1) When replacing a new shock absorber, a new locking nut should also be replaced, and the locking nut should be reliably tightened with a special tool.

(2) Use special tools for standard installation, and slow down when passing the Speed bump/pit road.

(3) Inspect the accessory parts every 20000 kilometers and replace them promptly if any damage is found.
